A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of the home. It is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components of the home defined by Standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector.
A home inspection usually takes between 3 – 4 hours but this can change do to the size of the home and additional services requested.
We make every effort to get on the roof should it be safe to do so. If we feel it’s unsafe we will inspect from the eaves or by using a drone.
We are usually booked out 3-4 days in advance. Most of our customers enjoy using our online scheduler to schedule their appointments. But feel free to call us as well if you need an inspection done quickly.

Yes we are certified mould testing company. If you feel your home has moisture intrusion problems or possible plumbing leaks causing excess moisture in your home it is a wise choice to have your home inspected for mould.
Yes we do offer Radon Testing and is the most asked about service. Manitoba is known to have high Radon levels. Radon is a gas that makes it way from the ground through cracks and other perforations in your home’s foundation. Radon gas can’t be seen or smelled in your home and is the second leading cause of lung cancer.
Yes we definitely want our clients at the home inspection. However its best if you attend the last hour of the inspection. This allows us to complete the majority of the inspection and then allow us to walk you through the home discussing your concerns and reviewing any defects we may have found.
During normal times this isn’t a problem. But because of Covid we have to limit the amount of people during the inspection.
Most times the report will be completed the day of the inspection but may be as long as 24 hours. You will receive an email with your report along with your Realtor if you choose.
Yes we can. Clients have found it very beneficial to have an Infrared Scan completed to help identify areas that my be lacking in insulation or areas that need to be sealed up from the outside elements. Just doing this can save you $$$ in energy cost each year.
